Nylon has excellent elongation qualities that dampen peak loads considerably in heavy weather situations. Double Braid is also the ideal construction for this type of application.
Polyester Double Braid Rope
Polyester Double Braid is a multi-plaited line constructed predominantly for the towage and pennant markets. Its superior construction also allows the line to more evenly distribute load around bits and through panama's where other ropes suffer from flattening, tension and compression issues.
Polyester Double Braid provides and excellent combination of high strength, low stretch, excellent weathering and easy handling. Of all the popular fibres polyester has the best weathering characteristics and the best wet abrasion resistance. Polyester Double Braid is identified with one external black marker. Polyester Double Braid is delivered standard with an overlay marine finish and is available on special order with a spliceable polyurethane finish in clear or any of six colors.
