PU Foamed Polyethylene Buoy For Fish Farming Cage Mooring System
EPS/PU Foamed Polyethylene Buoys are commonly used in aquaculture mooring system, like cage fish farming, kelp or shellfish mooring grid, since it has strong PE shell, can be used in harsh marine environment. It is light weight with economic cost, and can be easy handling.
Waysail just produced and delivered one full 40'HQ container of PU Foamed PE Buoy for a client, who is a fish farmer in South Asia. They grow Barramundi in the idea depth of the waters and tidal current profiles of the area, using cutting edge technology in their cage systems. We supply the whole set of mooring system for their old cage mooring system replacement, the products cover sandy plough anchor, Dia.44mm anchor chains, PP ropes, HMPE ropes, Rope thimbles, Buoys, Connection rings and relative connection shackles. All these components were done pre-assembly work before delivery to guarantee client's soomth assembly work on site.
The buoy is 8mm thick PE Shell, it has seamless steel pipe in side as central steel structure, and one lifting eye welded on the pipe on upper and lower side for mooring and lifting use. As per this cage mooring system design, it has a continous downwall pull on the buoy, this buoy structure strength is strong enough to meet the usage.
